📣 Elan Interactions Forum Is Moving – Here’s Why

Wix has announced that it is retiring the Wix Forum app. Posting will be disabled on October 15, 2025, and the forum will be fully shut down on March 1, 2026.

While this may sound abrupt, it’s actually a big opportunity: Wix is replacing Forum with a better, more modern platform called ... Wix Groups — and we’re moving there to keep the Elan Interactions community alive, thriving, and even stronger.

Why the Change?

• Our current forum has been slow and buggy — Wix is no longer supporting it.

• Wix Groups is actively supported, with faster performance and fewer errors.

• This change ensures our community will continue and grow on a future-proof platform.
  

What’s Next?

• We’re migrating all forum content and members to Wix Groups.

• Each forum category will become a Group with all your posts, comments, and reactions intact.

• You’ll still find the same topics and discussions — just in a cleaner, more reliable space.What happens?

1. We’ll run Wix’s one‑click migration: every category becomes a Group, with all posts, comments, and members carried over.

2. You’ll return to the same website, but the menu will say Groups instead of Forum—same conversations, smoother experience.

3. You’ll get an automatic invite or be added directly; nothing for you to rebuild.

We’ll make this transition as smooth as possible, and you’ll hear from us again once everything’s ready. Nothing is being lost — we’re simply upgrading.

We want to be upfront: the new interface will look different, and a few things won’t behave exactly like the old forum. A short adjustment period is normal, and some of you may have questions—please share them!

We’re making this move because it’s the best way to keep our community alive, healthy, and growing. Wix decided to discontinue Forums, but after weighing every option, migrating to Groups keeps us in the Wix ecosystem with full support. Wix even extended the shutdown timeline after site‑owner feedback, showing they’re listening and improving the Groups experience. We’ll keep an eye on new features and turn them on whenever they benefit us.
