I had a lucid dream last night (which happens often) but because before bed I had just flipped to and read the section on dreaming and the field of possibilities, in my “dream” I realized I was lucid , flew up into the tree, and then was able to look around with the understanding( — or at least very minor new understanding) it was the field of possibilities. Although, it was interesting because the moment I brought this awareness in, and tried to ‘instant manifest’ something from the field, it wouldn’t happen. This is similar to when I become lucid and try to really consciously fly through a window or wall or even fly with ease.
I find if I focus to hard, it’s as if the physics of the dreamscape change to more of “waking dream” psychics. Gravity sets in, things become solid…but If I relax my focus it becomes much easier or instant to manifest, move through walls, fly with precision and ease. Not sure if this makes sense. And curious if anyone on here is a lucid dreamer and can shed light on this.
But it’s fun to be able to have more context last night — although I only skimmed the chapter before bed, so A LOT I have yet to understand.
