Hi friend. Can you find ways to relax into a preferred state of ease and comfort? From what you say you experience distress most during uncomfortable situations...perhaps redefining it all in terms of an exciting challenge? Maybe employ some Elan-isms to shift awareness into another more preferred perspective? At a physical level, western medicine would approach gastritis (which is a definition unto itself) with proton pump inhibitors to lessen the acid level and through diet which may be effective if it aligns with one's belief structure, so there is validity there. Regarding going out of one's comfort zone... yeah, the HS does that sometimes in unexpected ways... expansion. I know what you're saying but more accurate to see it as the totality of our body is contained within our Spirit. The reality we experience including our corporeal nature is a dream projection of the consciousness we are. A slight shift of focus can produce a large effect such that what appeared to be outside is seen now to be within. To the physical self action figure it does seem that the higher or greater Self is 'out there', but it's only seemingly so. By analogy, we expand our view like moving from a 35mm lens to a panoramic one. (while we were the panoramic view all along).
