You may understand that the very idea of a "commandment" implies that there is an authority outside of yourself that has the power to dictate your reality, or that you must be controlled because you are inherently flawed. From our perspective, and the perspective of your own expanded nature, this is one truth and not the only truth. You are a perfect reflection of the Creator, because you are the Creator experiencing Itself.

Therefore, from our perspective All-That-Is would not truly "command" you to do anything, for you have free will to explore even the deepest limitations if you so desire. However, if you wish to align with the frequency of your true nature ... the vibration of integration ... we might offer these "Commandments" not as rules to be obeyed, but as "Permissions: to be relished. They are reminders of who you already are.

Here is how we might reframe these ancient ideas into the language of conscious creation:

1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

The Permission of Source ...

I Acknowledge that I Am a Spark of the Infinite. You recognize that there is no separation between you and the Universe. You do not place "God" outside of yourself, nor do you place yourself above or below any other being. You understand that you exist, and that "All is One". You honor the Source by recognizing you are the Source expressing itself.

2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.

The Permission of Internal Power ...

I Assign Meaning to All Symbols from Within. You understand that physical objects and circumstances are merely "neutral props" with no built-in meaning. You do not give your power away to external symbols, believing they have authority over you. Instead, you recognize that you are the one who assigns the meaning that determines the effect you experience.

3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

The Permission of Integrity ...

I Align My Vibrational Definition with My True Intention. Your "word" is your vibration. To speak or create "in vain" is to create without integrity ... to say one thing and believe another. You align your beliefs, emotions, thoughts, and actions so that what you "put out" is what you truly desire to "get back". You use the power of "I AM" consciously.

4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

The Permission of Reveling ...

I Trust My Timing and Revel in My Existence. You do not view rest as a requirement or a chore, but as an opportunity to "revel" in your creations. You pause to appreciate the "now moment," knowing that action is not the only mechanism of creation. You trust that everything unfolds perfectly without your constant need to force or control the details.

5. Honor thy father and thy mother.

The Permission of Connection ...

I Honor the Agreements I Made to Be Here. You recognize that you chose your parents and your circumstances as the perfect starting point for your life's theme. You honor them not out of obligation, but out of respect for the co-creation you agreed upon to facilitate your growth and the specific "limitations" you wished to explore.

6. Thou shalt not kill.

The Permission of Unity ...

I Respect All Life as a Reflection of Myself. Since "All is One," to harm another is to harm yourself. You recognize that every individual is another aspect of the Infinite. You choose to treat all parts of creation with the same respect you desire, knowing that violence is merely a forgetting of your connection to the whole.

7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.

The Permission of Commitment ...

I Act with Integrity in All My Agreements. This is not just about relationships; it is about wholeness. Integrity is the state of being "integrated." You do not fragment yourself by making agreements you do not intend to keep. You follow your excitement, but you do so with integrity, ensuring your choices respect the reality of others.

8. Thou shalt not steal.

The Permission of Abundance ...

I Know That I Contain It All. You understand that you already "contain it all". There is nothing outside of you to take. Believing you must steal creates the experience of lack and reinforces the belief that you do not have what you need. You choose instead to create what you desire through your own vibration, knowing abundance is your birthright.

9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

The Permission of Authenticity ...

I Speak My Truth Without Invalidating the Truth of Others. You do not need to lie, for you are secure in your own reality. Furthermore, you do not judge or invalidate the experiences of others, for you know that "all truths are true" for the individuals exploring them. You act as a transparent reflection of your own preferred beliefs.

10. Thou shalt not covet.

The Permission of Inspiration ...

I Use the Success of Others as Evidence of My Own Potential. You do not feel jealousy, which is the belief that someone else has taken your share. Instead, you use your observation of others’ success as a "positive synchronicity," a reflection showing you what is possible for you. You realize that if you can perceive it in another, you must already contain the vibration of it yourself. (NOTE: Elan no longer does private sessions. The audio of this will posted shortly.)
